SEEMLA will organize its Second International Symposium on the occasion of the 26th European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE) in Copenaghen, hosted by ETA-Florence.
This event will bring together project partners, who will present the Seemla contribution to mitigate the risk of competition between bio resources and food security, and methodology implemented, with the aim of providing a forum where experts can exchange ideas and best practices.
The Symposium will also host a panel dedicated to other European projects funded by EU such as Forbio, Magic, Bonares and Grace, as well as the experience from cultivation of energy crops on former mining sites in Vietnam.
A third Panel about the role of bioenergy in the European policy contextm, chaired by Nils Rettenmaier, Institute for Energy and Environmental Research (IFEU), will conclude this afternoon session.
