9 November 2018: Join us for the 5th SEEMLA THEMED WEBINAR
How sustainable is bioenergy from lignocellulosic crops cultivated on marginal land (MagL)? An overview of the results of the environmental and socio-economic assessment within the SEEMLA project.
11.00 – 12.30 CET
This Themed Webinar is brought to you by GoToWebinar®
One of the main objectives of SEEMLA was the evaluation of the impacts on sustainability associated with bioenergy from lignocellulosic crops cultivated on marginal land (MagL), both for generic scenarios, which are representing typical conditions found across Europe, and for specific scenarios covering selected countries / pilot cases. The environmental assessment was carried out using a combination of two methods: screening Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Life Cycle Environmental Impact Assessment (LC-EIA). Profitability was assessed by means of life cycle costing (LCC), with a focus on the farmer’s perspective.
During the webinar, IFEU staff will present and share the results obtained during the SEEMLA project.
